1. Nature of the Project

Getty provides hosted tools for live streaming workflows such as overlays, chat, tips, notifications, and creator-facing dashboards. These terms govern use of the hosted service.

2. Acceptance

By using the hosted app, you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, you should stop using the hosted instance.

3. License Context

Prior versions of getty were distributed under AGPL v3. Current hosted usage is subject to the applicable licensing and access restrictions defined by the project owner.

4. User Responsibility

  • You are responsible for the content, configuration, tokens, and webhook endpoints you provide.
  • You are responsible for complying with platform terms for enabled integrations.
  • You are responsible for reviewing your own operational, legal, and tax obligations.

5. Non-Custodial Nature

Getty does not hold funds or control user wallets. The service reads public or authorized data in order to render information and compute goals or summaries.

6. Third-Party Integrations

If you connect external platforms such as Odysee, Kick, Twitch, Discord, Telegram, or similar services, you also remain subject to those services' terms and policies.

7. Permitted Use

  • No illegal activity, fraud, phishing, or malware distribution.
  • No attempts to break the security of the hosted service or other instances.
  • No abusive scraping or deliberate overload of third-party APIs.
  • No intentional bypass of technical limitations or safeguards.

8. No Warranties

The hosted application is provided on an “as is” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or absence of errors.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or data-related losses arising from the use of or inability to use the service.

10. Updates and Changes

These terms may be updated over time. Continued use of the service after updates implies acceptance of the revised version.

11. Legal and Tax Compliance

Users remain responsible for any tax, reporting, or regulatory obligations arising from support, tips, or donation-related activity displayed through the application.

12. Termination

Users may stop using the service at any time. Hosted access may also be suspended for violations of these terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the applicable law specified by the service operator, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
